While roasting the New York Knicks in Trae Young’s 2021 postseason debut, the Atlanta Hawks guard debuted his signature shoes: the adidas Trae Young 1.
The sneaker notably features less lacing than your ordinary design, with direct inspiration from the N3XT L3V3L sneakers that Young wore his first few seasons in the league. Soft Boost foam is used in the heel with LIGHTSTRIKE foam used in the rest of the midsole for added bounce.
Colorways worn thus far include the “Peachtree” version and the ‘96 Atlanta Olympics-inspired in green. His signature ICEE colorway seen on past N3XT L3V3L sneakers returns to once again play off of his “Ice Trae” nickname.
