One of the most worn sneakers early in Trae Young’s rookie season was the adidas Harden B/E 2.
While not a a signature shoe, the budget-friendly James Harden team model packs decent technology. The B/E 2 features a full-length Bounce midsole, which gives the wearer added responsiveness. Despite this loaded cushioning, the shoe still sits low to the ground for court-feel that guards like Trae need. A lightweight knit combines with plastic overlays to provide comfort, while still being durable in high-wear areas. A midfoot shank further prevents you from support in preventing any over-bending of the foot.
Trae Young rocked mostly custom colorways of this sneaker, with a few playing off of his “Ice” Trae nickname.
