Before logging an official minute in the NBA, Trae Young dropped jaws with a clutch long-ranger jumper.
The play occurred in a preseason game between the Atlanta Hawks and San Antonio Spurs. The location: the home of the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets in the McCamish Pavilion. The score was tied 127 all when Young started dribbling out the remaining seconds of the game. Since Trae was so far out, defender Bryn Forbes stayed back towards the three point line. With 3 seconds left, Young launched a shot from the end of the half-court “G” with no contest from Forbes. The shot hit back iron and in, as the Georgia crowd erupted.
