Near the tail end of Damian Lillard’s 2012-13 rookie season, the Portland Trail Blazers point guard made a switch. Dame swapped out his adidas Rose 773 team shoes for the D Rose 3.5 signature shoe. With Derrick Rose on the shelf with an ACL injury, Lillard was the de facto three stripe endorser wearing the D Rose sneakers.
The shoe features a spiral diamond cut upper with breathable mesh portions. The molded ankle with the D Rose logo provides added collar comfort. A Sprintframe midsole adds comfort and flexibility for movement.
To drum up attention on the shoe, Lillard and adidas held a contest to customize the miadidas D Rose 3.5, with two winners winning a pair. Damian even rocked these winning colorways during a few games.
You can find the adidas D Rose 3.5 at StockX.
