Before being a household name, Giannis showed flashes of athleticism that only caught the eye of basketball purists. While his highlights were diverse, his shoe game stayed about the same for two seasons, with Giannis rocking the Nike Kobe 10 through the 2016-17 season as well. The colorways that were worn even stayed consistent with white, black, or green renditions.
Giannis preferred the engineered mesh low-top Kobe 10, although there was an “Elite” high-top utilizing Flyknit as well. The heel Zoom Air unit on the shoe provided a responsive bounce, while the Lunarlon used in the forefoot gave off softer cushioning.
