One of the most worn sneakers in Luka Doncic’s rookie year was the Nike PG 2 and PG 2.5.
There is almost no difference between the two styles, save for the 2.5 featuring an extra forefoot strap that was seen on the original PG 1. As for the rest of the shoe, “dynamic wings” were used near the forefoot lacing to provide snugness. The responsive Zoom Air unit placement was retained under the forefoot, but was made larger for extra bounce.
Both the PG 2 and 2.5 were used as a canvas for custom colorways for Luka. This includes painted Dragon Ball Z characters as well as an homage to teammate Dirk Nowitzki.
