Luka Magic was in full effect on this Doncic sequence amongst multiple Los Angeles Clippers defenders.
On this play, Doncic used a high DeAndre Jordan screen and ran at D.J.’s defender, Marcin Gortat. With Patrick Beverley trailing, Luka acted fast by dribbling behind his back, narrowly avoiding a Beverley steal. The dribble move was so smooth that both Clippers seemingly froze in place as Luka attacked the paint. Avery Bradley tried getting in his path but gave up once Luka got airborne for the easy layup.
The sneaker Luka wore for this game was the Nike PG 2.5. This sneaker uses “dynamic wings” were used near the forefoot lacing to provide snugness, in addition to the midfoot strap. The responsive Zoom Air unit placement was retained under the forefoot, but was made larger for extra bounce.
Luka rocked the Racer Blue “Fortnite” colorway, which can be found HERE.
You can find other colorways of the Nike PG 2.5 at StockX, GOAT, Stadium Goods, and Flight Club.
