Klay Thompson

Klay Thompson, Anta’s key signature shoe contract player, is the Silent Assassin.  While the Westbrooks and Embiids of the world captivate audiences with their voices, Klay lets his game do the talking.  His shooting and defense make Klay Thompson one of the best two-way guards in the league.

Klay has always been known as a player with near perfect shooting form, dating back to his college career at Washington State. This reputation helped Klay to become the 11th overall pick in the 2011 NBA Draft by the Golden State Warriors – decades after the second-generation star’s father Mychal Thompson was drafted number 1 overall in 1978. Klay’s historically great shooting, alongside fellow all-time shooting great Steph Curry earned them the nickname “The Splash Brothers.” Klay seems to enjoy wearing an all-around shoe with an emphasis on support. This helps Thompson stay locked into his shoes for all of the off-ball movement that helps him get open within the Warriors offense. An outrigger helps Klay prevent rollovers when sliding laterally during defensive plays.

Klay Thompson’s shoes were Nike before transitioning to become the face of a Chinese brand, Anta. Continue on to read more on what Klay Thompson has laced up throughout his career.
