Many of the technology remained from past Damian Lillard signatures, but the aesthetic of the adidas Dame 4 changed dramatically.
The eye-catcher on the sneaker is the is the outsole, which resembles the musical waveform riding up the midsole. Design-wise, this was done to mirror Lillard’s rap career as Dame DOLLA. Other small details include “Dame Certified” text on the sock-liner and his personal motto “Patience Persistence Purpose’. The liner also includes a handful of stats that mark important moments in his career.
The venerable BOUNCE cushioning system carried over from his past signature models, giving Lillard extra responsiveness when running and landing. A simple ventilated mesh upper helps provide breathability through small vents.
