Joel Embiid is not known to play nice on the court. An altercation with the Los Angeles Clippers Marcus Morris soon fueled a massive highlight.
Things got chippy late in the 4th, with the Philadelphia 76ers holding a single digit lead against the Clippers. Embiid was being fronted by Morris on a post-up and their arms soon got tangled up. Words and shoves were exchanged between the two, before being separated. The Process was guarding Morris on the following play, as Marcus drove to the rack. An easy layup soon turned into an emphatic block from Embiid, as both tumbled to the ground. Channeling his inner Mutombo, JoJo hit Morris with a finger wag thereafter.
The sneaker Embiid rocked for this moment is the Under Armour Anatomix Spawn 2. The shoe boasts full-length Micro G in the midsole for light responsiveness. As the name suggests, the outsole pattern matches the anatomical foot for easy movements and added court-feel. The eye-catching TPU plate on the lateral side further gives stability when moving side to side.
The Volt colorway Joel wore is currently unavailable, but you can find other colors of the Under Armour Anatomix Spawn 2 at UnderArmour.com.
