Anthony Davis Baptizes Big Baby Davis with Dunk in the Nike Air Max Hyperposite Shoes

We can’t confirm that Anthony Davis ever took candy from a baby. He did take a Big Baby’s soul though in a 2014 game against the Orlando Magic.

The young A.D. was playing the pick-and-roll game with teammate Brian Roberts early in the game and on this play, Davis rolled perfectly. Roberts bounce passed the ball perfectly to the train that is Anthony Davis, who went up before Glen Davis knew what was happening. Victor Oladipo jumped to contest as well, but the Brow jumped right past him. Anthony ferociously packed a right handed dunk over Big Baby, who turned his body towards the rim to try to duck for cover. The impact forced Glen into the stanchion as Davis flexed for the New Orleans home crowd.

The sneakers Davis wore for this baptism was the Nike Air Max Hyperposite. This big man shoe was made for maximum impact protection, with the full-length Air Max unit absorbing heavy landings. The bulky “foamposite” upper wraps around the foot like armor, forming to your foot shape over time.

Anthony Davis rocked a white and red PE for this slam, but you can find other colorways of the Nike Air Max Hyperposite at StockX, Stadium Goods, and Flight Club.
