Anthony Davis POSTERIZES Aron Baynes in the Nike Kobe 4 Protro Shoes

Getting in the way of an elevating Anthony Davis isn’t a good idea. Aron Baynes didn’t get the memo.

In this New Year’s day game, A.D. was playing pick-and-roll ball with Lakers teammate Danny Green. One particular screen caught Phoenix Suns Guard Devin Booker and forced Dario Saric to switch off of Davis. The Los Angeles All-Star then ran the rim with reckless abandonment, catching the eye of Green. He threw the lob thereafter with Davis and Baynes jumping. Anthony effortless collected the alley-oop with his right hand and threw down a massive dunk over Aron. Once both parties landed, Davis let out a primal scream along with the ecstatic Staples Center crowd.

The Kobe 4 that A.D. wore in this game was the “Protro” version, which slimmed the heel shape and increased the range of the traction. The heel Zoom Air and soft phylon foam remained in the cushioning, providing lightweight bounce when landing on the heel. The upper features synthetic leather uppers, with Flywire panels in the midfoot for added lockdown.

The “Carpe Diem” colorway Davis rocked for this moment can be found HERE.

You can find other Nike Kobe 4 Protro colors at StockX, GOAT, Stadium Goods, and Flight Club.
