Anthony Davis’ guard skills were on full display in this Shammgod crossover highlight from the talented big man.
Davis had the ball at the top of the key looking for a dribble hand-off. In a quick instance, Anthony hard dribbled in and out, catching Memphis Grizzlies big JaMychal Green sleeping. Green tries to catch up to A.D. but nudged him for the and-1 on Davis’ two-handed dunk. The Brow released a primal screen on his way down from the powerful play.
The footwear Davis was wearing in this moment was the Nike Kobe AD, which dropped in 2018. This was a departure for Anthony who typically wore bulkier, more supportive footwear. As the signature name suggests, the Kobe AD is a guard shoe, featuring a lightweight bootie construction. A bouncy Zoom Air unit is also added in the heel for responsiveness.
