Damian Lillard Bounces in RIDICULOUS 40 Foot Three-Pointer in the adidas Dame 6 Shoes

The legend of Damian Lillard continues to grow, with this epic performance against the Dallas Mavericks as one of the bigger moments in Dame’s career.

The stakes were high for this bubble game, as the Blazers play-in lives were on the line. Lillard had dropped 51 against the Sixers in the game prior after missing key free throws the game before that, leading to a loss to the Clippers. In addition to feuding with Paul George and Patrick Beverly, pundit Skip Bayless criticized Lillard for not winning when it matters. Lillard was on fire in this game against the Mavs, keeping his Portland Trail Blazers in it throughout. He took over in the fourth with key free throws before this epic shot.

With the shot clock winding down and the Blazers down 127-130, Dame tried jab stabbing about 40 feet from the hoop before launching one over Tim Hardaway Jr. The ball was straight on according to Lillard, and bounced off the back iron. The ball seemingly hung in the air forever some 20 feet in the air before falling directly through the net.

Lillard would end up tying his career-high with 61 points. When asked about the shot Dame said he felt his cousin who passed away in quarantine guided the shot in the hoop. Just like Dame to deflect credit to people around him.

The sneakers Lillard wore for this wild three-pointer was the adidas Dame 6. This utilizes Lightstrike cushioning, which aims to provide the best combination of step-in comfort and lightweight cushioning on the market.

The Core Black and gold colorway that Lillard rocked for this moment can be found HERE.

You can find other colorways of the adidas Dame 6 at StockX and Dick’s Sporting Goods.
