Damian Lillard is known for his clutch shooting, but this reputation makes his underrated hops stand out more. This was the case when the entire Los Angeles Lakers team was caught slipping.
The Portland Trail Blazers were up 6 late in the fourth and needed a bucket to close out the game. Lillard was killing clock near mid-court with Ronnie Price crowding his space. Dame swept his arms left and right before a burst of speed had Price in his rearview. With all of his momentum, Damian jumped just inside the key. Lakers big men Jordan Hill and Ed Davis jumped on opposite sides of the rim to contest. Somehow, the much smaller Lillard parted the seas and packed a right handed dunk between both Lakers. This slam was capped off with a loud yell from Damian to ice the game.
The sneakers Lillard wore for this highlight was the adidas Crazy Light Boost 4. This three stripes model features Boost technology, which provides one of the softer cushioning systems on the market. The upper was composed of SPRINTWEB, a plastic material that doesn’t have any seams to distract the wearer.
The grey colorway isn’t currently available to purchase, but you can find the adidas Crazy Light Boost 4 at GOAT.
