Damian Lillard Hits Tying-3, Taps Wrist in the adidas Crazy Light Boost 4 Shoes

Dame Time was born on this memorable moment from Damian Lillard in Oklahoma City.

The score was 98-95 in favor of the Thunder, with the Portland Trail Blazers’ Steve Blake inbounding. With just 5 seconds remaining, the ball went to Lillard who launched instantly from downtown. This was almost in the same spot as his Houston Rockets series-ending shot at the top of the three point arc. Serge Ibaka was late on the contest and Lillard nailed the game-tying shot. This capped a 13-3 run by the Blazers in the last 1:33 in the game to force overtime.

As the road crowd was buzzing, Lillard swaggered towards his bench before tapping his wrist. He then uttered the famous words “you know what time it is.” Whether you call this Lillard Time like the Portland broadcasters or Dame Time to rhyme with “game time,” the last few seconds of the game was made for Damian Lillard. Portland would go on to win the thriller in overtime 115-111.

The sneakers Lillard wore for this career highlight was the adidas Crazy Light Boost 4. This three stripes model features Boost technology, which provides one of the softer cushioning systems on the market. The upper was composed of SPRINTWEB, a plastic material that doesn’t have any seams to distract the wearer.

The grey colorway isn’t currently available to purchase, but you can find the adidas Crazy Light Boost 4 at GOAT.
