Damian Lillard showcased his unlimited range in this crazy highlight against the Toronto Raptors.
With just 2.8 seconds left in the first quarter, Dame raced up the court to get some points on the board. Lillard took one step past the half-court line, before launching the long 3-pointer. The impressive part of this shot was that Lillard used his regular shooting form, as if the extra distance didn’t matter. Even the defending Cory Joseph was caught off-guard and contested late. The buzzer sounded after the shot, which hit the back of the rim and in. The Canadian crowd oohed loudly, but Lillard was unfazed, calmly high-fiving his Trail Blazer teammates on the bench.
The sneaker Damian wore for this highlight was the adidas D Lillard 2. The jacquard woven upper was more inexpensive than Primeknit, but provided the same soften and durable attributes that Dame needed. This budget-friendly signature shoe boasted Bounce technology to provide a responsive, yet plush feel. Some version replaced Bounce with Boost to ramp up the soft cushioning.
Damian rocked the black and white “Static” colorway for this moment, which you can find here.
