For a short period of time, Giannis Antetokounmpo rocked the Nike Kyrie 1 in 2015. A notable game that Greek Freak wore the first Kyrie Irving signature shoe was in April against the New York Knicks. Coach Jason Kidd inexplicably benched Giannis the game before, with Kidd being mum on the reasoning. The term “Giannisgate” was rumbling in Milwaukee, but the Greek Freak essentially silenced the talk with game-high 23 points. Two of these points came on off a block and coast-to-coast rim run ending an an eye-catching slam. The Giannis face after the play put the cherry on top of the Bucks W.
