Ja Morant Improbably Scores Between Three Nuggets Defenders in the Nike Kyrie 4 Shoes

While Ja Morant is known for his freakish athleticism, his skill allows him to score from pure skill.

On this play, Ja looked to be locked down by Torrey Craig on a drive where the Denver Nuggets wing didn’t back down. Morant drove baseline behind the backboard before going behind his back towards the rim again. Craig along with Nikola Jokic and Michael Porter Jr. looked to have all three corners of the rim protected. Morant somehow still snuck a reverse layup between Jokic and Porter Jr. on a double-clutch. Man was a walking bucket on this highlight.

The sneakers Ja rocked for this game was the Nike Kyrie 4. This style is known for it’s biting traction, as is the case for most Kyrie sneakers. The tread rides up the lateral midsole, providing a teeth design of sorts. Aside from the aesthetics, this feature helps players like Ja have more balance when performing crossovers.

Morant wore the white and gum “Uncle Drew” colorway for this moment, which you can find HERE.

You can find other colorways of the Nike Kyrie 4 at StockX, Flight Club, and Stadium Goods.
