In a masterful performance that included another almost highlight, Ja Morant proved his worth against the number one team in the west.
Ja was dropping dimes all over the place on LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers. Morant also got his, swishing three pointers in a game the Memphis Grizzlies led most of the way. The crowd-pleaser this game wasn’t even a highlight. Ja nearly ended Anthony Davis’ entire career with a poster dunk that he missed (the refs also called the charge.)
Morant got the easy W in the game and did some double-double damage: 27 points and 14 assists. The Grizzlies rookie even gave a shout out to a Twitter troll who said he lacked the fire to win.

The sneakers that Ja rocked for this game was the Nike Kyrie 6. This shoe utilizes a midfoot strap akin to the Nike Air Yeezy 2, to add lockdown to the upper. An Air Zoom Turbo unit in the forefoot provides court-feel and responsiveness. The Kyrie 6 also boasts 360 degree traction riding up the midsole, providing grip at every angle.
The colorway worn for this game was the Chinese New Year version, which can be found HERE.
You can find more colorways of the Nike Kyrie 6 at Dick’s Sporting Goods, StockX, GOAT, and Flight Club.
