Kawhi Leonard Posterizes Giannis for NBA Finals Berth in the New Balance OMN1S Shoes

The setting: 6 minutes left of game 6 of the Eastern Conference Finals at “The Six”. The Toronto Raptors just erased a 15-point deficit and were pulling ahead when Kyle Lowry grabbed a key steal. Lowry drove towards the hoop and stopped on a dime to hit the trailing Kawhi Leonard with a pass. The Klaw skies with Giannis Antetokounmpo leaping on his right. In mid-air, Leonard adjusts to pack the ball on the left side of the rim as gravity pulls down both he and the demoralized Giannis. Every Canadian inside and outside the Scotiabank Arena erupt on cue.

The damage for Kawhi: 27 points, 17 rebounds, 7 assists, 2 steals, 2 blocks, and the first NBA Finals birth in Raptors history.

The footwear: the New Balance OMN1S. This silhouette features mesh on the majority of the upper, with leather panel in the collar area. The shoe notably features FuelCell cushioning in the midsole, a nitrogen-infused foam that helps get a quick first step.

Kawhi rocked a PE colorway for this pivotal moment, but you can find other colorways of Kawhi Leonard’s New Balance OMN1S at StockX.
