After winning Finals MVP the year prior, Kawhi Leonard and the San Antonio Spurs were down a game in the first round of the 2015 NBA Playoffs to the L.A. Clippers. Leonard decided to show out for game 2 with a career highlight.
With the Spurs starting to pull away in the 4th, Kawhi charged towards the rim and abruptly posted up against the smaller J.J. Redick. Before you could blink, Leonard dropped his left shoulder as if he was shooting a turnaround. He then performed a perfect dream shake as Redick crumbled to the floor before swishing his jumper.
The shoes that Kawhi rocked for this highlight was the Air Jordan XX9. This featured the Flight Plate and Unlocked Zoom Air set up in the forefoot, giving the wearer direct access to the responsive Zoom cushioning. The Flyweave upper further provides a sock-like fit.
