Kawhi Leonard, in New Balance OMN1S shoes, and his relentless supporting cast, tore down the great Golden State Warrior’s shot at a 3-Peat, winning the 2019 NBA Finals. New Balance bet on Kawhi Leonard in their re-emergence into basketball shoes, making Kawhi’s their first signature basketball shoes since the 1980s in Hall of Famer James Worthy. NB must be thrilled with their man.
@NBHoops is cheersing to Kawhi’s legendary performance, as he became the first NBA player to ever win the Finals MVP in both conferences.
Kawhi dominated from wire to wire, imposing his will on both ends of the floor in those NB’s with the throwback look. In the clip above, his dominance is exemplified in a single play (skip to 1:10) when he effortlessly denies a Steph Curry layup as Curry crashes under the backboard, then catches his own block, and drives the ball to the opposite foul line and drains a mid-range jumper all in about 8 seconds.
The New Balance OMN1S shoes that Kawhi wore in the finals, the All-Star editions, were unveiled in February 2019, but do not yet have a release date. We are working on details, but until then, look for the New Balance OMN1S shoes at StockX.com.
