LeBron James Chasedown Blocks Landry Shamet in the Nike LeBron 17 Shoes

Year 17 started off with more feats of athleticism for the wily LeBron James.

Prior to this play in the third quarter against the Los Angeles Clippers, James showed out with a breakaway dunk and staredown of Lou Williams. For this specific play in the season opener, Lakers teammate Avery Bradley lost the ball prompting a Clippers fast break. LeBron was ahead but decided to slow down, allowing Shamet to zoom past him. Landry got the ball as close to the backboard as possible for the layup, before the King swatted the ball off the backboard with his right hand.

The sneaker James wore for these highlights were the Nike LeBron 17. This sneaker features a heel Air unit; the largest bag ever seen on a basketball shoe, providing maximum impact protection. The two large volume Zoom units in the forefoot for extra responsiveness. Knitposite graces the upper, with heat-molding creating the scaly look. As a result of the heat, the upper features more structure and durability.

The all-purple “NBA 2K” colorway worn in this game can be found HERE.

You can find the Nike LeBron 17 at StockX, GOAT, Stadium Goods, and Flight Club.
