LeBron James Chases Down Andre Iguodala for NBA Finals Block in the Nike Zoom Soldier 10 Shoes

The block. One of the greatest NBA Finals moments ever occurred with LeBron James’ freakish athleticism on full display.

The stakes were high for both teams in this game 7 matchup. The Golden State Warriors looked to avoid losing the series after being up 3-1. The Dubs also wanted to make history as the greatest team ever, coming off an NBA-best 73-9 regular season. The Cavaliers were looking to win their first championship, and first for Cleveland sports in more than 52 years.

With the score tied 89-89 for what seemed like eternity, the Warriors looked to finally take the lead. Kyrie Irving missed a floater with 1:56 left in the game and Golden State was off to the races. Andre Iguodala passed to Steph Curry who gave the rock back to Iggy near the rim. J.R. Smith contested, forcing Andre to adjust his layup underneath Smith’s extended arm. This split second was all James needed. LeBron came out of nowhere to block Iguodala’s shot before it could reach the backboard. The play eventually led to Kyrie Irving’s iconic fadeaway three and was a defining moment in LeBron’s improbably championship win.

James rocked the Nike Zoom Soldier 10 for this iconic swat. The sneaker featured three straps on the midfoot and ankle area, providing lockdown despite the lack of laces. Large Zoom Air units in the heel and forefoot allowed for bouncy steps and landings. A TPU shank is lodged between these units for added stability.

The black and gold Soldier 10 that LeBron wore in this moment eventually released via popular demand, and can be found HERE.

You can find other colors the Nike LeBron Zoom Soldier 10 at StockX and Flight Club.
