His nickname may be the King but LeBron James was a magician on this play against the Sacramento Kings.
The Los Angeles Lakers were absolutely dominating early in the first, when LeBron drove to the rim. The Lakers legend jumped a little to far from the hoop and motioned at behind-the-back pass. While looking horizontally to his left, James then reversed course mid-air by throwing a dart diagonally behind his head. The no-look pass landed perfectly in teammate Avery Bradley’s hands, leading to a wide open 3. Bottom of the net.
The sneakers James wore for this dime pass were the Nike LeBron 17. This sneaker features a heel Air unit; the largest bag ever seen on a basketball shoe, providing maximum impact protection. The two large volume Zoom units in the forefoot for extra responsiveness. Knitposite graces the upper, with heat-molding creating the scaly look. As a result of the heat, the upper features more structure and durability.
LeBron rocked a violet purple colorway for this moment, which is not currently available for sale.
