LeBron James Goes All Out on Steal in the Nike LeBron 7 Shoes

LeBron James usually finishes a fast break, but this time it’s his defense that ignites the Los Angeles Lakers.

On this play, Brooklyn Nets guard Joe Harris pump faked after the King switched onto him. Harris tried dribbling off the fake but James stiff-armed the ball loose. As the ball caromed to half-court, LeBron dove for the ball as he lay on the Lakers logo. He then passed the ball mid-slide, with the rock eventually getting to Kyle Kuzma for the slam dunk.

The sneaker James rocked for this moment was the Nike LeBron 7. This signature shoe arrived on the scene in 2009 with nearly universal acclaim due to the similarities to the Air Jordan 11. The mudguard is similarly cut with the AJ 11 and many colorways of the LeBron 7 featured patent leather as a homage to the Jordans. The shoe also took a shift in adding full-length Air, replacing the Zoom Air set-up on most of the past LeBrons.

The purple and gold colorway in this highlight is currently unavailable.

You can find other colors of the Nike LeBron 7 at StockX, Flight Cluband Stadium Goods.
