Even at age 33, LeBron James could still dunk over dudes. The victim this game was the Philadelphia 76ers’ Ersan Ilyasova.
As the de facto point guard for James’ last season with the Cavaliers, the King brought the ball up the court for this play. Cleveland teammate Cedi Osman set a screen for LeBron, who darted towards the hoop. James only needed one dribble before taking flight in the paint. Ersan Ilyasova bravely tried to contest the dunk from the weak-side. Unfortunately his jets ran out of fuel while James was still rising. A right-handed poster dunk ensued, with LeBron staring down Ilyasova afterwards.
The shoes that King James rocked for this game was the Nike LeBron 15. This shoe features a BattleKnit upper which provided a sock-like fit, but was also thick enough to provide durability needed for James’ playing style. The max Zoom Air units further provided a bounce needed to posterize defenders.
The “Hollywood” LeBron 15 in Rust Pink that LeBron wore for this moment can be found at StockX and Flight Club.
You can find the other colorways of the Nike LeBron 15 at StockX, Flight Club, and Stadium Goods.
