The King pulled a highlight dunk out of his bag in the 2016 NBA Playoffs, embarrassing one specific Detroit Pistons player.
On this play, Cavaliers Guard Matthew Dellavedova drove past Reggie Bullock and drew a double team in the paint. The defensive switching caused the Pistons to forget about LeBron, who raced to the rim. Delly flipped a pass towards James who quickly rose up. Bullock turned around and jumped before realizing who had the rock. You can almost see the mid-air regret as LeBron crushed a two-handed poster dunk over Bullock. James was so hyped, he hung on the rim before juking and jiving back up the court.
The sneakers that James rocked for this dunk was the Nike LeBron 13 Elite. The upgrades to the LeBron 13 Elite versus the regular version include a durable Kurim cage upper as well as a carbon fiber shank for support. A full-length bootie helps secure the foot. Two additional hexagonal Zoom Air-sole units are also added on each shoe, totaling six per shoe.
The King wore the black and silver “Ready to Battle” colorway, which can be found HERE.
but you can find the Nike LeBron 13 at StockX, Flight Club, and Stadium Goods.
