LeBron James Posterizes the Bucks’ Brook Lopez in the Nike LeBron 7 Shoes

LeBron James has always had a knack for dunking on centers, and Brook Lopez was yet another victim of the poster club.

On this play, the Lakers’ Danny Green whizzed a pass to James in the corner for a wide-open 3. The Milwaukee Bucks defense was all out of sorts, forcing Lopez to try to close on on the King. After a pump fake, James went at Lopez’s chest with a dribble drive. Once under the rim, the lack of hops had Brook hopeless to just stand there as James threw down a two-handed poster dunk.

The sneaker James rocked for this moment was the Nike LeBron 7. This signature shoe arrived on the scene in 2009 with nearly universal acclaim due to the similarities to the Air Jordan 11. The mudguard is similarly cut with the AJ 11 and many colorways of the LeBron 7 featured patent leather as a homage to the Jordans. The shoe also took a shift in adding full-length Air, replacing the Zoom Air set-up on most of the past LeBrons.

The black, white, and gold colorway in this highlight can be found HERE.
