Michael Jordan Stuffs Dunk Over Greg Ostertag in the Air Jordan 13 Shoes

The Utah Jazz are often seen as victims of Michael Jordan’s greatness. Outside of Karl Malone, John Stockton, and Bryon Russell, a poster child for this 90s abuse was Greg Ostertag.

On this play, Michael received the ball on the high-post against against guard Thurl Bailey. After facing up, MJ easily got past Bailey entering the paint where Ostertag lived. Mike challenged the 7’2″ behemoth, before cramming a right-handed dunk over the big man’s extended arm. Greg ducked as the ball flew through the net in his direction. As he looked the opposite direction, Ostertag missed Jordan’s bunny hops celebrating the poster dunk.

The sneakers that Mike wore in this game was the Air Jordan 13. The design drew inspiration from the black cat, as Mike displayed the behavior of the carnivorous predator. The Hologram on the heel mimics a black panther’s eye, with the theme extending to the paw-shaped outsole. The shoe also boasts a carbon fiber support plate once again for lightweight support. That is combined with the heel and forefoot Zoom Air units for a quick and responsive first step.

The white and black “He Got Game” colorway MJ wore in this game can be found HERE.
