Zion Williamson’s combination of power and speed made for an epic highlight in a Duke win against Virginia.
The play started with a ton of energy, as Zion freight-trained full-court after a rebound. At one point, four Virginia defenders surrounded the Blue Devil Forward. Two of them were shook by a Zion Shammgod dribble, which is unheard of for a guy of that size going full-speed. Cavaliers 7-footer Jay Huff was the only man standing between Williamson and the bucket, as the big man slapped Zion on his right wrist. Somehow unfazed, Zion cocked his arm back and packed it over Huff for the and-1 poster dunk.
The sneakers worn for this moment was the Nike PG 2.5. This utilized a forefoot strap for added lockdown as well as a responsive Zoom Air unit in the forefoot for a quick first step.
