In just their second matchup ever, Zion Williamson put up big numbers while outscoring LeBron James.
The New Orleans powerhouse forward came with his standard fare; rocking the rim on plenty of dunks. This includes a spin into an alley-oop finish over Kyle Kuzma. Not to be outdone, LeBron was a force himself with power drives to the rim. James even got Williamson on a shake-and-bake dribble move for an easy layup.
Zion won the battle, scoring a career-high 35 points to LeBron’s 34. James won the war though, notching a triple-double and getting the win for his Los Angeles Lakers.
The sneakers Zion rocked for this highlight slam was the Air Jordan XXXIV. The 34th jumpman sneaker features large Zoom Air units in the heel and forefoot to give Williamson even more bounce to his step. A cored out pebax plate surrounds these units for lightweight stability. The upper is composed of a lightweight mesh for breathability, with a woven layer adding much needed durability.
His grey and orange Jordan 34 is currently unavailable, but you find other colors of the Air Jordan 34 at StockX, GOAT and Dick’s Sporting Goods.
The sneaker James wore for this rejection were the Nike LeBron 17. This sneaker features a heel Air unit; the largest bag ever seen on a basketball shoe, providing maximum impact protection. The two large volume Zoom units in the forefoot for extra responsiveness. Knitposite graces the upper, with heat-molding creating the scaly look. As a result of the heat, the upper features more structure and durability.
LeBron rocked a purple and gold player edition for this moment, which is not currently available for sale.
You can find the Nike LeBron 17 at StockX, GOAT, Stadium Goods, Flight Club and Dick’s Sporting Goods.
