The new human highlight reel in Zion Williamson went off in his preseason debut.
Out of his numerous dunks against the Atlanta Hawks, the best came early in the 1st quarter. Jrue Holiday provided a dribble hand-off for Zion who trucked his way towards the rim. Hawks players including Trae Young knew to get out of his way, but center Damian Jones didn’t get the memo. Jones rose up for the block, but was easily posterized by Zion with a right-handed tomahawk dunk.
Other Williamson dunks include a rim-shaking two-handed jam, as well as a left-hander to showcase his throwdown versatility.
The sneakers Zion rocked for this first game was the Air Jordan XXXIV. The 34th jumpman sneaker features large Zoom Air units in the heel and forefoot to give Williamson even more bounce to his step. A cored out pebax plate surrounds these units for lightweight stability. The upper is composed of a lightweight mesh for breathability, with a woven layer adding much needed durability.
