It doesn’t matter if he’s playing a meaningless preseason game; Zion Williamson just won’t chill on the dunks.
On this play, Pelicans Guard Nickeil Alexander-Walker broke down the Chicago Bulls defense with his slashing ability. A quick dime pass to a baseline-driving Zion had the big man under the rim. Without stopping or hesitating, Williamson took flight and spun completely 360 degrees to jam it at the front of the rim. The best reaction was from fellow rookie Coby White, who backed up looking impressed by Zion’s athletic ability.
The sneakers Zion rocked for this highlight slam was the Air Jordan XXXIV. The 34th jumpman sneaker features large Zoom Air units in the heel and forefoot to give Williamson even more bounce to his step. A cored out pebax plate surrounds these units for lightweight stability. The upper is composed of a lightweight mesh for breathability, with a woven layer adding much needed durability.
Zion rocked a white and black PE colorway for this dunk, but you can find other colors of the Air Jordan XXXIV at StockX.
