Sure Zion Williamson can jump, block, and dunk but did you know he can throw dime passes too? The Duke Forward dropped one of the craziest assists in college basketball during a December game against the Hartford Hawks.
As with many of his highlights, Duke was leading big when Williamson pilfered a Hartford guard. This led to a 2-on-1 situation where the 1 gave up mid-play knowing not to get in the way of Zion. Instead of the easy dunk, the 285-pound Blue Devil chose to lob the ball off the backboard. The trailing R.J. Barrett then went two hands for the flush, making the Cameron Indoor Stadium crowd go nuts. Zion’s do-it-all skills included hype man after the play, as he hopped enthusiastically for his best friend’s dunk.
The sneaker in this highlight was the Nike Kyrie 4. This style features a soft Cushlon foam in the midsole that combines with a bouncy heel Zoom Air unit for a comfortable ride. Mesh and synthetic leathers made up the toe and heel uppers respectively. The main attraction is the traction, which rides up the midsole for secure movement from all angles.
Zion rocked a Blue Devil PE for this moment, but you can find the Nike Kyrie 4 in other colors at StockX, Flight Club, and Stadium Goods.
