Damian Lillard’s clutch reputation was established early in his career. This includes an overtime shot against the Detroit Pistons.
The second-year point guard had the ball in his hands with the score 109-109 on the road with 10 seconds remaining. The Blazers’ LaMarcus Aldridge tried to set and slip a screen, but the Pistons switched back perfectly. With 4 seconds left, Dame drove left with Rodney Stuckey matching his movements with solid defense. Lillard then spun to the right and faded away from just inside the free throw line. Stuckey got his hand up for the great contest but the shot floated into the hoop, with just 00.1 seconds remaining. Game, blouses.
