Damian Lillard Hits Wild Playoff Shot While Falling Down in the adidas Crazyquick 2 Shoes

The 4th quarter was once again Dame Time, as Lillard went to work in game 3 of the Blazers first round series against the Houston Rockets.

The 2014 NBA Playoffs started off with success for Portland, after winning the first two games on the road. With about 4 minutes left, however, Lillard’s Blazers were trailing by 5. On this play, Dame had an extra pep to his step as he dribbled the ball up the court. A quick left-to-right drive kept Houston Guard Jeremy Lin off-balanced, which had him fouling Lillard as he went up for a shot in the paint. With Dame practically on the ground, Lillard flipped a no-look shot over Lin and the rotating Dwight Howard. The ball floated in the air for what seemed like an eternity before falling straight through the net for the and-1.

The sneaker Lillard rocked for this crazy shot was the adidas Crazyquick 2. This shoe features a natural motion sole that allowed for court feel. This combined with a SprintFrame chassis to be low-to-the-ground with maximum support. Cushioning was minimal with EVA foam throughout the midsole. The mesh upper provided breathability, while also making the shoe light enough for quick movements.

You can find the grey and red Lillard PE adidas Crazyquick 2 at StockX and GOAT.
