Just two days after knocking down a last second shot against the Pistons, Damian Lillard was on his clutch bag in Cleveland.
The Cavaliers and Portland Trail Blazers were tied 116, with the ball once again in the sophomore point guard’s hands. Dame ran the clock down to about 4 seconds left with methodical dribbles near mid-court. Without any hesitation, Lillard launched a three from the edge of the Cavs “C” logo at half-court. Alonzo Gee lunged for the contest, but there was no stopping Dame Time. The ball sailed through the net, with his teammates following Lillard at half-court to celebrate the W.
The sneakers Lillard laced up for this slam dunk was the D Rose 4. This shoe looked to provide support for guards with SpringFrame, a midfoot piece that is both rigid and low to the ground. This combined with the CrazyQuick sole provides better court-feel to help guards get a quick first step.
Damian rocked the black and red colorway, which isn’t currently available. You can find other colorways of the adidas D Rose 4 at StockX.
