James Harden’s prolific scoring has been well documented since joining the Houston Rockets. A two-game stretch in December 2019 in particular filled the box scores and had fantasy basketball fans drooling.
It first started with a big win on the road against the Cleveland Cavaliers, where the Beard notched 55 points on 10/18 shooting from 3-point range. Two days later, Harden “regressed” with 54 points on 10/15 from deep. Almost every single trey in these bouts came via his signature stepback three, some from way downtown. If you wanted to see a peak version of Harden, this stretch shows his greatness.
The sneakers the Beard rocked for these two games was the adidas Harden Vol. 4. This shoe features LIGHTSTRIKE cushioning that provides a balance of responsiveness and step-in comfort, while still being lightweight. A midfoot band draws eyes while also locking in James’ foot to assist with all of his stop-and-go moves.
James rocked the black and gold version of the shoe for both matches, which you can find HERE.
