Despite the hate from NBA fans, magic happened once Kevin Durant joined the Golden State Warriors. This includes a wild sequence against the Indiana Pacers that displayed some beautiful basketball.
The Warriors were up big in this game with Zaza Pachulia preparing for a jump ball in the third. The Dubs big man easily won the matchup against Paul George and tapped to Draymond Green. Playing quarterback, Green threw a Hail Mary pass to a leaking Steph Curry. The point guard had the easy touchdown but threw a lob up on the catch. Kevin Durant then skied with his long arms for the easy two handed dunk.
The sneakers Kevin Durant laced up for this excellent team play was the Nike KD 9. This model featured Flyknit for the first time in Durant’s sneaker line, utilizing a sock-like fit for soft comfort. The other standout feature is the flexible, full-length Zoom Air that gave the wearer a bounce to their step.
The colorway Durant rocked in this moment was the KD 9 ‘The Sauce’ which you can find here.
You can find other colorways of the Nike KD 9 at StockX, Flight Club, Stadium Goods, and GOAT.
