For one game in the Los Angeles Lakers 2018-19 season, LeBron James brought Showtime back with some highlight dunks.
On one play, teammate Kyle Kuzma gathered a steal and threw a full-court pass towards LeBron. With no one in front of him, the King decided to jump off the bounce. He then gathered the ball under the hoop, throwing down a reverse jam that drew gasps from the Chicago Bulls road crowd.
Later in the 4th quarter, James found himself on a three-on-none fast break. Josh Hart led the fast break with a lob pass off the backboard. The King gathered the ball and spun in the air, reversing into a slam with his right-hand. LeBron then beat his chest, shimmied for the raucous crowd, and gave all the dap to his teammates.
The sneakers James wore for this highlight was the Nike LeBron 16. This sneaker featured a full-length Zoom Air unit for a bounce to your step. Zones were sectioned apart on the sole to allow the shoe to flex. A “BattleKnit” upper provided instant step-in comfort, while still being durable for the rigors of the game.
LeBron James rocked a black and ice blue PE during these feats of athleticism, but you can find the Nike LeBron 16 at StockX, Flight Club, and Stadium Goods.
