Michael Jordan Rocks the Cradle on Dunk Against Maryland in the Converse Pro Model

Yeah, Michael Jordan made that game-winner in college but he also had other crazy highlights. Case in point, this slam against the Maryland Terrapins.

This play starts off with a giant block from North Carolina star Sam Perkins. Michael got the rebound and was off to the races on the fast break. The next closes defender stumbled at half-court, meaning Mike had the runway to fly. Mike jumped well past the painted area and palmed the ball away from the rim. MJ then double clutched in mid-air to perform a sweet rock-the-cradle dunk for the Tar Heels.

The shoes that Mike laced up for this championship game was the Converse Pro Model. This shoe was pretty standard for the 80s, with a leather high-top upper and vulcanized sole.

You can find the Converse Pro Leather in UNC colors at Converse.com and StockX.
