With Durant’s team on the road and the score tied 123 all, inbounder Wally Szczerbiak hurled a pass to KD with 2.1 seconds left. Kevin swung under fellow rookie Al Horford’s arms and hoisted a fadeaway jumper. The shot touched two parts of the rim before falling in. Game-winner number 1 in KD’s career was completed just two weeks into his rookie season.
